Marigold Dust and Charmer

This would be the Unicorn of my trio with her cat.

Marigold Dust seems at first to be a snobby, high-end pony from the way she does almost everything. But that would be the farthest thing from her. Although a Unicorn, Marigold was raised by Earth ponies in a little corner of Equestria no one cares about. She is polite and caring, willing to listen to her friends for hours. Being raised by Earth ponies made it so she does not use magic very often and is extremely hands-on. She loves to garden and toil away in the dirt and muck, as that is what she is good at. She could really care less about magic, preferring to do things as far as she can without using or depending on it. Mostly she uses her magic for playing her cat, Charmer, getting things that are out of her reach, and multitasking when she's in a hurry. Her aspect on magic is that it is like a drug, making you depend on it for everything and causing you to be useless if you ever lost it. She feels that if her magic were somehow to be taken away, she would survive because she barely uses it in the first place.

Charmer has been with Marigold Dust ever since he was a kitten and was a gift from her parents. He is sweet, but has an aloofness around anypony but his owner. He loves being picked up with magic and loves helping out Marigold with her gardening. From chasing off vermin to helping dig holes, Charm partakes in any way that he can.
